Archery tournament hits the spot
MEMBERS of Crystal Arrows Archery Club competed in “The Denes 720", the first outdoor archery tournament organised by the club based at Denes Community Sports Centre, Lowestoft. This was to be the first time both the junior and senior sections of the club had shot together in open competition and conditions could not have been better for the 22 members. In the junior gents section, Nathan Beane and Matt Artis fought throughout the day with Nathan edging out his rival by nine points.Jay Eriera pulled out a commanding lead at the longer distance and managed to hold on to this despite a late charge by second place Chris Nash.Ladies; winner Tina Crisp was chased hard all day by Caroline Graver.
